Clean Energy impossible without nuclear and gas

The man in charge of transforming the European Union’s coal-dependent climate laggard, Poland, into a clean energy economy says the task is pretty much impossible without nuclear power and gas.

“Our analysis showed that it will be extremely complicated on the way to climate neutrality without nuclear,” says Michal Kurtyka, Poland’s energy and environment minister, who headed the COP24 global climate talks in Katowice in 2018.
