Our Board includes Chairman Richard Pearce, Matthew Gauci, Oliver Kruezer, all who have significant experience in uranium. Steve Blower is our Technical Director and been involved in several significant discoveries in the Athabasca Basin, including our recent GMZ discovery.
The management team is led by Managing Director, Siobhan Lancaster, who was involved in Extract Resources, where she played an integral role in the sale of the Husab deposit to CGNPC in 2012 for $2.2 billion.
Serdar Donmez, our VP Exploration, has tremendous experience in the Athabasca Basin and been involved in serval discoveries for Denison Mines Corp. Most recently, Serdar held the position as Resource Geology Manager at Denison Mines Corp., and was a member of the team that investigated ISR mining techniques in high grade uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin.
Mr Pearce is an experienced professional in the global mining and mining technology industries, the private investment sector and in the agricultural sector. His experience in the mining industry spans the value chain, including board directorships, exploration, operation management, mining finance, M&A, business strategy and operational improvement. With a career of over 20 years, Richard has worked in multiple commodities and geographies, including iron ore, coal, uranium, mineral sands, gold and copper, in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, South East Asia, New Zealand andAustralia.
The Board considers that Mr Pearce is an independent Director.
Mr Gauci is a Mining Executive with more than 20 years’ experience in strategic management and corporate finance in the mining industry having successfully financed and managed private and public mining exploration companies operating in Australia, Africa and South America. Mr Gauci has managed teams in the exploration, development and feasibility of a number of mining exploration projects in precious metals, base metals and bulk commodities.
The Board considers that Mr Gauci is not an independent Director, due to his role in the formation of the Company.
Dr Kreuzer is a Registered Professional Geoscientist (MAIGRPGeo) and company director with a broad skill set in structural, generative and corporate geology honed during a 20+ year career in applied research and mineral exploration across a wide range of gold, base and battery metal and uranium projects across the globe. His generative work laid the foundations to several new company floats, project acquisitions and new discoveries. Dr Kreuzer acts as a regular consultant to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). His extensive research, is published in leading peer-reviewed journals.
The Board considers that Dr Kreuzer is not an independentDirector, due to his role in the formation of the Company.
Ms Lancaster has a wealth of experience in the uranium industry, having previously held executive positions in this sector. She was previously Company Secretary/ Corporate Affairs for Extract Resources, which discovered the Husab Uranium Project in Namibia. During her time at Extract, Ms Lancaster played a major role in the successful takeover by CGNPC, a Chinese State-owned entity for
$2.2 billion.
Ms Lancaster started her career as a Corporate/ M&A lawyer at Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens Linklaters) in Sydney; and, more recently, founded Instatruck. Instatruck was awarded 2016 WA Innovator of the Year (Growth) for its truck matching platform
Ms Lancaster is a Managing Director for 92 Energy.
Mr Blower is a Professional Geologist with 30 years of experience in the minerals industry including mine geology, resource estimation and exploration for a variety of commodities. For the past 14 years, Mr Blower has been involved in uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin with a number of listed entities including Pitchstone Exploration Ltd. (which was a TSX-V listed company), Denison Mines Corp (NYSE: DNN), (TSX:DML); and he was previously Vice President of Exploration at IsoEnergy Ltd(TSX- V: ISO). Mr Blower is a consultant geologist for 92 Energy and a Director of 92 Energy.
Mr Donmez is registered as a Professional Geoscientist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS). Over the past 17 years, Mr Donmez has been actively involved in a large number of uranium exploration and development projects operated by Denison Mines Corp. in northern Saskatchewan and Zambia, most notably the Wheeler River project, which hosts the Phoenix and Gryphon uranium deposits.
Recently, Mr Donmez held the position of Resource Geology Manager at Denison Mines Corp., where he made significant contributions to the development of mineral resource estimates and 43-101 technical reports. Mr Donmez was a member of the team that investigated the application of the ISR mining technique in high-grade uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin.
Steven is a Director of Grange Consulting, where he specialises in corporate advisory, company secretarial and financial management services. Steven is a Chartered Accountant, and since joining Grange in 2011 he has been involved in various private and seed capital raisings as well as successful ASX listings, whilst also providing company secretarial and financial management services to both ASX and unlisted public and private companies. Prior to joining Grange, Steven started his career in the Perth office of Pitcher Partners where he spent several years in their corporate re-structuring division. Steven is currently Company Secretary for a number of ASX listed entities.
